Sustainable Manufacturing: We Achieved 22% Improvement in Energy Efficiency with Process Data

Tracesens announced the field results of its new energy monitoring module, developed with a focus on green transformation and sustainable manufacturing goals. The 6-month study in a pilot plant operating in the iron and steel industry revealed striking results.

The Energy Efficiency Module, integrated into the TracePro platform, cross-analyzed process data (pressure, temperature, RPM, etc.) from production lines with real-time energy consumption data. Using artificial intelligence algorithms, the system identified points of unnecessary energy consumption during production downtimes or low-capacity operations.

As a result of the project, a 22% improvement in energy efficiency was achieved solely through operational improvements. This success proves that Tracesens provides its customers with not only production benefits but also environmental and financial advantages by using process data. The company aims to offer this module to all its customers by 2026.
