Tracesens has brought digital transformation down to the operator level by merging Augmented Reality (AR) technology with industrial maintenance. The newly introduced AR-Supported Mobile Maintenance Module aims to fundamentally change the way maintenance technicians work.
In this system, when a maintenance technician goes to a machine in the field, they recognize the machine using AR glasses or a tablet camera. The system instantly projects data received from the machine's digital twin onto the operator's field of vision. The operator can virtually see the machine's live process values (temperature, pressure), maintenance history, and even troubleshooting steps (SOP) overlaid on the machine.
This technology significantly shortens intervention times for complex failures, accelerates the training of new operators, and maximizes the first-time-fix rate. With this module, Tracesens is turning the "connected worker" concept into reality.
